Remember, if you join a beginner’s class everyone is going to be starting at the same point. You won’t find everyone else there knows more than you. This means you’ll all be setting off on your kickboxing journey together. That’s fun in itself, but learning what it’s all about and discovering the basic moves is fun too.

As the weeks go by and you attend more classes, you’ll start to get the hang of things a little more. Things you found challenging to begin with will now be easier for you to manage. You’ll also start to see the benefits outside the classes, with better fitness levels and a leaner frame to enjoy. You might even start to look forward to each new class more than you did before!

So really, the enjoyment factor shouldn’t be ignored or forgotten. Kickboxing really is fun, whether you are going to your first class or your 10th. The first class might involve a few nerves but they will soon go. Make sure you’re ready for the enjoyment to begin so you can start enjoying the benefits too.
