Notes for Beginners Kickboxing Classes
You’ve heard about it, you’ve seen the benefits it has given other people, and now you are wondering whether beginners kickboxing classes could be right for you.
Kickboxing provides a great aerobic workout, strengthens all kinds of muscle groups and banishes stress, too. And that’s just the beginning. Everyone takes on our Oadby kickboxing classes and gets something different out of them. What will you get out of your first class when you give it a try?
While you will only get the answer on the day, you will start wondering whether the classes are really for you long before that. And that’s understandable – kickboxing is an intense workout. You may wonder whether it is too intense for you.
The main thing we would encourage you to do when you join your first Oadby kickboxing class is to take it slow. You don’t have to work out madly; just get the feel of what a kickboxing class involves and take things at your own pace. This should help you get to grips with it, and to feel like you are still benefiting from the increased exercise.
The thing to remember here is to exercise at a pace that suits you, and won’t leave you absolutely worn out afterwards. If you go too hard too fast, you are very likely not to want to come back. That’s not what we want – we’d love to see you again, and over time you will get fitter and be able to do more than you did in your first lesson.
Just remember that everyone has to start somewhere – even the instructors! So attend your first class, don’t expect too much from yourself and find out whether this form of exercise is going to be just the type you are looking for.
